This standard specifies requirements for water pipes "dry" or "wet/dry" according to DIN 1988-600 and DIN 14462.
This standard does not specify requirements for pipe deaerators or air cleaning device, as used in closed heating systems.
This standard does not cover components in buried water supply systems in accordance with DIN EN 805 or DVGW-Data sheet W 400.
